Standard concrete that is produced by following general concrete application instructions. These applications use the mix of cement, sand, stone and other common material as aggregate.

The ingredients in any particular mix depends on the nature of the application and slump specifications requested by the client.

Standard concrete is available in strengths ranging from 10mpa to 40mpa.

Pump mix concrete is the mix of aggregates (without admixtures), high slump and water. This type of concrete is more workable and allows for better flow during application.

The choice of a concrete mix depends on the need of the project both in terms of strength and appearance and in relation to local legislation and building codes. Design mix requirements take into consideration the weather conditions that the concrete will be exposed to in service, and the required design strength. The compression strength of a concrete is determined by taking standard molded, standard-cured cylinder samples. Many factors need to be taken into account, from the cost of the various additives and aggregates, to the trade offs between the "slump" for easy mixing and placement and ultimate performance.

This is a very dense plaster mortar used for interior finishes of concrete swimming pools. Pool mix concrete is the mix of specialized cement, chemical and sand products.
